ULTRAX silage foil

The most important parameters of the ULTRAX foil include:
- High resistance to mechanical damage - the foil has a 5-layer technology, which guarantees 100% anaerobic fermentation, because its high resistance to tearing prevents irregularities in the fermentation process. There are 5 layers of foil: adhesive, 2x mechanical, barrier and protective. High-strength, state-of-the-art polymers are responsible for the strength parameters of the ULTRAX foil.
- Increased adhesive strength - the PIB glue used in the production of the foil is the strongest product available on the market. The gluing strength of the ULTRAX foil is additionally higher than in the case of other products available on the market because the glue is accumulated, which means it performs its role better in the difficult conditions prevailing when wrapping bales intended for silage.
- Full 12-month protection against UV radiation - an additional layer of dye is added to the ULTRAX foil, increased by 50% compared to other products on the market, which perfectly protects the content of the wrapped raw materials against UV rays and also optimizes product consumption during the wrapping process itself by allowing the use of larger bookmarks.
- Decent foil thickness - the so-called barrier layer prevents oxygen from penetrating through the foil, thus ensuring an excellent anaerobic fermentation process.
There are two types of foil:
- 1. ULTRAX 25
- 2. ULTRAX 20
The parameters of both foils are almost identical. Unlike ULTRAX25, ULTRAX20 foil is characterized only by the fact that it is thinner than 25-micron foils, but its strength and parameters are not weakened. An additional advantage of ULTRAX 20 foil is that less of it is used in the wrapping process, which may result in product savings.
